According to EN124:1994, with 4 opposite covers, testing before shipping for the smooth surface and loading strictly!

Ductile iron manhole cover and gully grating, the inspection certificate to be provided according to BS EN124:1994, the material grade GGG500/7, coating black bitumen, testing before shipping for the smooth surface and loading.

 

Manhole tops are constituted by triangular lids provided with:
- hinge, in order to facilitate the opening/closure operation;
- hold of lids on the frame, in 3 points, in order to avoid the noise;
- in addition to the lock with security key, a "safety block" exists applied on the frame, in which, starting from an angle of 90°, the accidental closure of each lid is prevented.

Clear opening: all the clear opening of the frame is available, without dismantle semi-covers.
Closure: with inox steel lock (according Telecom norm) openable with the appropriate cast iron security key for all manhole tops with triangular semi-covers.
Opening: only in sequence with the "hinge" system, with an opening effort < 30 Kg. (Legislative Decree 626/1994); every single semi-cover has a weight not greater than 30 Kg. The opening of semi-covers, which happens on two opposite sides, is such to always leave free a couple of opposite sides; with the only exception of 70x80 model with 3 semi-covers, for which it's necessary to pull out the central lid (which weights less than 30 Kg.) in order to obtain the couple of free opposite sides.
Dismantling: if necessary, it's possible to remove the semi-covers from the frame without the aid of accessories, without doing double movements to free the security block, with an effort never greater than 30 Kg.
Frame: it is in alveolar structure, with lateral holes for the handling during movements.
Painting: non toxic and non polluting black painting.
